Short Trip to Wells Nevada

The Wife and I finally managed a short trip to Wells Nevada. It was the first time we were able to get the Travel Trailer and go somewhere since last March. I was starting to get Cabin Fever and needed to get away for a few days. We Love to RV and travel with our Denali Travel Trailer. Even if it was a short trip of 500 miles round trip. We left out home about 10:00 AM on a Friday, and were in Wells Nevada around 3:00 PM. Driving between 50 and 60 MPH, and stopping for Lunch at the Salt Flats Cafe. Our trip was uneventful and we had no problems.

Entrance to the RV Park

We stayed at the Angel Lake RV Park just off of I-80 exit at the west end of Wells. We stayed for four nights at $30 a night with Good Sam. We have stayed there before and the owners Steve and Mavis are very nice and helpful. It is a family run RV Park. The sites are gravel and level for the most part, with some trees. Full hookups, free WiFi, and Cable TV. The WiFi is through Frontier Mobile. The connection is Unsecured. So be aware and take precautions.

It was a little chilly during the Night and Morning hours. So I used a Electric Heater, which kept us warm and snug as a bug. There were a Few mostly Deer Hunters staying there. We saw one bunch who had five, 4 point bucks. They were in two travel trailers. on the second and third days we saw several Snowbirds who were on there way south and stayed overnight. Plenty of room and no problem for big rigs and slides. Nice long pull through sites. They have the nicest rest rooms and showers and the cleanest of any I have ever seen in all of our travels all over the USA and parts of Canada. Below is a picture of the site where we stayed.
